Kuffour appears to have no future in the Italian capital after being omitted from the Giallorossi's pre-season reckoning. And, with coach Luciano Spalletti publicly giving the green light to the player's transfer, the Ghanaian international is actively pursuing a switch. "We are trying to find a new destination for Kuffour," said the former Bayern Munich star's agent Oscar Damiani. Salvation for Kuffour may come in the form of Premiership duo Tottenham and Portsmouth. Pompey have long been in the market for another central defender, in spite of the signing of Sol Campbell, while Spurs boss Martin Jol has also identified the area as requiring squad strengthening. --
