Despite Mancini's insistence that he wants to stay at Roma, the player and club are evidently no closer to agreeing terms over a contract extension than they were at the beginning of the year. It was way back in January that the Brazilian winger said that "only little details are missing" ahead of the completion of a new deal, but three months on and there has been no significant progress to report in that regard.
