However his game was cut early through injury. Riise -5.5: The former Liverpool man raced up and down the left wing like a train with no brakes. Always ready to feed the front men with his accurate passing but at times he was also a little sloppy. De Rossi -8.0: Another classic display by the Roman as he pulled the strings for his side. Was involved in everything and his passing deserves a special mention. Who needs Francesco Totti when this guy is on the park. Aquilani -7.0: Great game by the Italian international. His link up play and understanding on and off the ball is sublime. He put in some great tackles in the middle when on the back foot and he enjoyed solid game all round. Taddei -5.0: Taddei went missing in the first half and he was hardly involved in anything. It wasn’t a good performance and his lack of concentration allowed Cluj back into the game. Baptista -4.5: The Brazilian wasn’t outstanding by any means but he did what he could and he was always a nuisance to the Romanian back line with his clever runs in behind but he was a spectator for most of the game. Vucinic –7.5: Always alert, sharp and dangerous and he played his socks off but he just wasn’t able to deliver. He enjoyed a great performance despite his side losing.
