COXON: 'BLUR WERE BECOMING BULLS**T'
GRAHAM COXON is glad he left BLUR when he did, because the band's music was
turning into "bloated anthemic bulls**t". The guitarist quit in 2002 because
of what he later revealed to be a drinking problem. But Coxon insists he was
finding it harder and harder to agree with frontman DAMON ALBARN's musical
choices. He says, "We started turning into some kind of pompous, bloated,
anthemic bulls**t thing. "I simply did as I was told. I spent too long putting
my dignity on the back-burner for the sake of advancing the band's position."
