O medicinam omnibus consulentem, omnia tumentia comprimentem,
omnia tabescentia reficientem, omnia superflua resecantem,
omnia necessaria custodientem, omnia perdita reparantem,
omnia depravata corrigentem!
Quis iam se extollat contra Filium Dei?
Oh, Medicine, looking after all: reducing all swellings of pride;
renewing all wasted lives; cutting out all that is superfluous;
preserving all that is necessary; restoring all that has been lost;
curing all that has been corrupted!
Who should now raise himself up against the Son of God?
噢，治百病的良藥：它壓抑所有傲慢，
振奮所有萎靡，祛除所有冗贅，
保留所有所需，修補所有損失，
治癒所有腐敗！
