標題請教一題週期表？

Give an example of a region of the periodic table that acts as a bridge
between two other region. What does this tell you about the properties
of the bridging elements?
請問這裡說的 架橋元素 是指啥？ 是過渡金屬嗎？ 還是類金屬？
