標題[情報] Orioles acquire slugger Reynolds from Diamondbacks

BALTIMORE, Dec 6 (Reuters) - The Baltimore Orioles have moved to shore up
their power hitting by acquiring third baseman Mark Reynolds(notes) from the
Arizona Diamondbacks, the team said on Monday.
In exchange the Orioles will ship right-handed pitchers David
Hernandez(notes) and Kam Mickolio(notes) to the Diamondbacks.
Reynolds has hit at least 28 home runs in each of the last three seasons. In
2009 he recorded a career-high 44 homers and 102 RBI.
The 27-year-old has homered an average of once every 16.4 at-bats in his
four-year major league career, the Orioles said in a news release.
Hernandez, 25, went 8-8 with a 4.31 ERA in 41 games for Baltimore in 2010
while Mickolio, 26, was 0-3 with a 4.32 ERA in 23 games for the Orioles over
the last three seasons.
The Orioles will also receive a player to be named later or cash from the
Diamondbacks as part of the deal.
