At the beginning of this year, I never intended for a crazy, ambitious commitment to become what it has become. The journey has been difficult, challenging, fun and rewarding at times, but often uncomfortable, stressful, and sometimes I wake up and the first thing I think is “how am I going to show love today?” I want to say that it gets easier as the days go on. I want to say that showing love is simple and a natural overflow from our Father. But to be honest, its not. What I CAN SAY is: Through the months, I’ve seen a deepening relationship with Christ and a growing understanding the extent of His love within myself. I didn’t start this commitment to make a statement about myself, but about God. This is the God of love that I serve and when God is put first, movements happen. So what’s been happening? People are moving! Whether they’re the amazing individuals starting their own LOVE LIFE commitments (another blog entry in itself) from all over the world or whether they’re using “LOVE” in wedding slideshows, their worship sets, or even just sending it to a friend to brighten up their day, there have been people impacted and that are impacting other with His love!
