NEW YORK CELEBRATES NOVEMBER 15 AS GUNDAM DAY

Gundam creator Yoshiyuki Tomino attends the Anime NYC on November 15 to
celebrate Gundam's 40th anniversary with the New Yorkers! Not only that, the
city council officials attended the event to meet and greet Tomino in person
and to give recognition to his fine works and recognizes November 15th as New
York's "Gundam Day".
Photos posted via Gundam Global Portal official Facebook page featuring
Tomino with NYC and Anime NYC officials, plus the actual Gundam Day
recognition certificate signed by Benjamin Kallos, the Council member for the
5th District of the New York City Council (present in the first photo, far
right).
It is great to see that Gundam is getting more known day by day. In this way,
an even better image has defined the hobby and the whole franchise.
