標題[問題] 請教名詞thermokarst subsidence

最近在看有關地表沉陷的資料
讀到有關永凍土的沉陷
看到這個名詞
thermokarst subsidence
後面的應該是沉陷(有錯嗎????)
前面的我字典查不到
thermo是"熱的"
karst喀斯特地形
這兩個合起來是什麼意思呢?我聯想不起來
又為什麼在討論永凍土會講到"karst"呢?
