The Dutchman ran from his own half to score Spurs' second in beating Wigan 2-1 - in an all-round performance that Jol was quick to praise. Confident that Davids is now finding his feet in The Premiership, Jol spoke about the player's love of life at White Hart Lane. "He is 32, but he has great stamina," said Jol. "When you think he is tiring, he always comes up with that sort of thing, but I knew that anyway. "He loves to play for this club and I think it is showing." In an evenly contested affair Jol believes his side deserved to take maximum spoils, as they were impressive in setting the tempo in the first period. "This is a place that is not easy to win at,'' he continued.
