新聞來源 - Sky Sports Jenas takes physical approach Tottenham midfielder Jermaine Jenas believes the players need to dig in and play physical, ugly football to lift themselves off the bottom of the Premier League. Spurs are languishing at the foot of the pile on just one point after four games, picking up a draw against Chelsea in between a pair of 2-1 home defeats by Aston Villa and Sunderland and an opening-day loss away at Middlesbrough. Jenas says technical ability is not always enough to pick up points in the Premier League, and he says the team need to impose themselves when Spurs host Wigan on Sunday. Jenas wants Spurs to match their opponents and build on their Uefa Cup win against Wisla Krakow in midweek, and he says a win against Wigan will kick-start what has been a disappointing start to the new campaign. "We've got great technical players but the Premier League is not like that sometimes and you have to dig in and make it scrappy," Jenas said. "It's all about the three points. Teams are not going to just let us play football so we have to stand up and be counted. "Sometimes you can get yourselves in a rut and we were in that effectively. "The attitude has always been there but we've had the odd thing not going for us or the odd chance not going in at a vital time. Against Wisla we thought that this was the time to get it moving." Jenas added: "There is a different feeling around the ground, it's a bit more chirpy and there is a buzz.
