標題[問題] over the world的用法

The first global pollution convention was held in Hong Kong and it was attended by scientists from over the world.
句末的from over the world是錯誤的表達方式。
是不是要改成from all over the world??
那如果把from刪掉，剩over the world??
還有其他的表達方式嗎?
請高手能詳細地解釋一下!!謝謝!
