The message is being spread not only in the country but also in other Asian cou ntries, particularly those that have been ravaged by the tsunami spawned by the magnitude 9 earthquake off Sumatra island in Indonesia, sources said. Authorities in neighboring Asian countries Singapore and Malaysia have also iss ued statements declaring the message to be a hoax. The DoH said that there is no cause for alarm over the alleged virus.
