Newcastle defender
Steven Taylor has been selected at England senior level
for the first time, joining club colleagues
Michael Owen and
Alan Smith in the
squad for next Wednesday's Wembley friendly against Germany.
Taylor had originally been called up for
the U21 game the previous evening
against Romania at Bristol City's Ashton Gate -
James Milner remains in Stuart
Pearce's squad for that one.
