標題[新聞] Owen 打算接受手術

MICHAEL Owen has resigned himself to the fact he is likely to need an
operation to solve his niggling groin injury, even though it could mean
he has to miss England’s crucial Euro 2008 qualifiers next month.
The Newcastle striker saw a specialist last night and his scan results
were being assessed and a time scale put on his recovery. However, The Journal
understands the 27-year-old has prepared himself for the worst and expects to
undergo surgery this week.
It will then be a case of how long it takes for him to recover, although
initial estimates suggested that, because it is only a minor problem and not
a hernia, it will take him between two to three weeks to get back into full
training.
可說是英格蘭球員中屬一屬二愛國的Owen似乎打算接受了他必須要動手術的事實。
他的腹股溝的問題因為尚未轉變成為疝氣，所以如果動刀的話可能只需要
2-3週就可以恢復完整的訓練。
(再加上10月聯賽只有三場...這時候休息對球隊比較不傷:P
他之前打算拖到聖誕節前再動刀，但這樣搞下去我想球迷會去他家砸東西了...)
