The problem with a misunderstanding is that you have to know it's a misunderstanding to be able to deal with it. If you are not aware that someone's perception is wrong, or that communication is not clear, then you can argue all day without resolving anything. Today, if you experience a conflict, it might be because someone has either the wrong impression or someone is not fully understanding the message. Clarify that by asking questions and offering answers.
