按: 這篇主要是C's球員與教練Doc River對七六人的comment 76ers young, dangerous By Steve Bulpett / Celtics Beat | Saturday, May 12, 2012 | http://tinyurl.com/bqf5d3t WALTHAM — It will be cheesesteaks instead of prime steaks. It will be the unexpected eighth seed instead of the team with the best regular-season record in the Eastern Conference. But Celtics [team stats] followers should certainly not get comfortable now that the team of their affection is playing Philadelphia rather than Chicago in the second round. Instead of dealing with the City of the Big Shoulders, the Celts will go against the place you got sick of watching in those Southwest Airlines commercials — even though there is “a lot of culture” in Philly. But even though the 76ers were aided in their quest for advancement after Derrick Rose went down for the series in the last minute and a half of Game 1, you overlook them at your own peril. “Other people can,” Celtics coach Doc Rivers said yesterday. “We’re not. “This is a difficult matchup for us — probably in some ways more so (than Chicago) because they have more athleticism. The athleticism is what’s bothered us in the past. They have speed and athleticism and youth. That has been just as deadly for us.” Speed and athleticism and youth...sure. But the 76ers don’t have anyone who does sneaker commercials. And while that fact may diminish them in the eyes of the shallow, it may actually serve to make the Sixers more formidable. You never know where it’s coming from a team whose sixth man — Lou Williams — is one of its most lethal weapons. “It doesn’t matter,” said Ray Allen of the sneaker snub. “ I think people get caught up in that, but it doesn’t matter. “You’ve got to respect them 100 percent. You can’t (be) thinking this is a team that nobody knows who exactly is on the team that can play well. They’ve got guys that play hard. They’ve got a deep bench. “You go into a playoff series, and these guys are playing well together. It’s not about one guy taking the shot. Those are the teams that are more dangerous, because you have an all-around attack.” An attack that is aimed at some of the Celtics’ weaknesses — the bad turnovers, etc. This is not a great matchup at all for the Shamrock-ing Chair A.C. “They will be (a tough opponent),” Rajon Rondo [stats] said. “They’re a very young, athletic team that causes a lot of turnovers, and they’re a unique team — kind of similar to Indiana. Not just one guy is the star. Five or six guys score in double-digits, so it’s going to have to be a great team effort from us just to slow those guys down.” And as Paul Pierce [stats] pointed out, it’s a matter of the math. “It’s the second round,” he said. “Teams get better.” While the Celtics get more pained. Allen, Pierce, Avery Bradley and Mickael Pietrus are hurting, and the fact they have to answer the Game 1 bell tonight could be an issue against a team that may also have finished Round 1 on Thursday but is walking into the Garden on younger legs. “I’m not real thrilled about it,” Rivers said, “but, listen, we both have to play on Saturday. You look at the Miami series; they don’t have to play until Sunday. I don’t get the whole thing, but it is what it is.” Well, then you should have taken care of things in Game 5 on Tuesday in Atlanta. Then you could have watched the Bulls and Sixers bump and grind to the buzzer while sitting on a couch eating popcorn. “Yeah,” Rivers said, “we should have won Tuesday. We should have done a lot of things.” And by all regular-season rights, the Celtics should be facing Chicago in this second round. Before the playoffs began, they were fully figuring to be running with the Bulls if they got through Atlanta. “Of course,” Pierce said. “I mean, they were the favorite, the No. 1 seed. But you can’t take (Philadelphia) lightly.” Allen agreed. “They’re here for a reason,” he said. “You know, Philly’s here for a reason. You can’t look at a team as an 8 seed and say one way or the other. You’ve got to come out and be very particular in how you approach this game and how you focus on trying to beat this team and move on. I don’t look at any seed. “Chicago, despite being injured, you look at their record without Derrick Rose and they played great basketball all year. Philly still beat them and beat them convincingly.” Now the Celtics have to convince their subconscious that the 76ers can run them out of the building tonight. If the Bostonians don’t play with aggression and urgency, Philly is more than capable of driving a cheesesteak through their heart. --
