Production has begun on Star Wars Rebels, an exciting, all-new animated
television series based on one of the greatest entertainment franchises of
all time. Scheduled to premiere
in fall 2014 as a one-hour special telecast
on Disney Channel, it will be followed by a series on Disney XD channels
around the world.

Following a teaser video last week that was replete with easter eggs,
Lucasfilm has announced their next animated venture. In Fall 2014, Disney
Channel will broadcast the one-hour premiere of a new Star Wars animated TV
series set
between Episodes III and IV called Star Wars Rebels. After the
premiere, the series will shift over to Disney XD for its regular airings.
