Total revenue was $16.65 billion, compared with $16.66 billion in the same period last year, while adjusted revenue of $15.51 billion topped the analyst revenue estimate of $15.46 billion. Passenger revenue was $13.87 billion, compared with $13.84 billion in the second quarter of 2024. Cargo revenue rose 7% to $212 million and “other” revenue declined 2% year over year to $2.57 billion. Load factor, a key measure of how an aircraft’s capacity is being utilized, was 86%, down from 87% in the prior year’s quarter.
