His foot raraly land flat during the whole match and he just seems to be floating around with ease. The result is that he can be in the very good position to hit ball most of the time. 2/ His handspeed His handspeed, I mentioned in this forum before, is just great. Not just fast ,but also with great ease which make you feel that he really doesn't hit them with that much power, but in reality, they are very powerful. Just compare his with those of Roddick. Roddick's stroke is not that flexible and lack the varity of Frederer's. Frederer can hit it with top spin and side spin as well. Viewed from the position of my seat, his form is just like those of a dancer! That is, really artistic. 3/ volley I am myself a big fan of Pete Sampras,but I have to admit that Frederer's volley is even more natural than Pete's( I watch Pete's play in Hong Kong during 90's too.) He follow his serve into net with great speed and pinpoint precision so that he can nail down the return to the corner for many times in the match. It just flow. Pete's play is already wonderful enough, but watch Roger in person just make me wonder once again that how can tennis be play with such beauty and artistic skill. Hope I can watch him one more time --
