這幾天在做出版社自薦
是有關一本旅遊文學的書
不過這一句讓我整個停擺不知道如何是好
原句如下：
Cutting a path along the highways and byways of the continent, this book
lifts the lid on the Liberators' legacies and sniffs behind their modern
status.
主要是最前面 cutting a path along the highways 讓我很猶豫
這裡指的有沒有上高速公路阿？
還是指說沿著高速公路旁的道路？
抱歉如果這問題太幼稚了 我是個翻譯新手
