NESTOR FABIAN CANOBBIO, IS PRESENTED AS A NEW P`LAYER FOR VALENCIA CF 30/07/2003 21:36 This afternoon, President Orti, the deputy to the president Pedro Cortes and the sports director Jesus Garcia Pitarch together with the executive committee presented the Uruguayan player Nestor Fabian Canobbio. A new player for Valencia CF for the next four seasons comes to the club from Penarol. In his public appearance the player thanked "The sports director for having believed in me. I am going to do everything I can to triumph in this team. I have come to play in a squad with a lot of stars. I am also grateful to Paco Casal for the efforts making it possible for me to be here today”. In response to the questions as to his preferred position on the field of play he answered that he plays “as an offensive winger, although I do well in all attacking positions”.
