標題[創作] Paul the Prophet (Trilogy)

--Dedicated to Paul the Octopus and FIFA World Cup 2010
I
After swallowing eight references,
Paul can eat no more.
His head knocks on his desk.
Then he begins snoring.
His classmates wakes him up.
Each hands a copy of his test paper with a perfect score.
Angrily they said, "We'll definately cook you this time."
II
His eyes run too fast.
His body is far behind,
Chased by heartbroken gamblers.
With spatulas on their hands,
They shout, "Eat him! Eat him!
Eat him (and his power of prediction)!
The eyes ask cameras for political asylum,
And hide themselves in the internet and newspapers.
In invective and applause, the eyes they see
The exhausting body being arrested by time.
III
His mouth opens.
They stake.
They win.
They immure him.
They feed him.
They take photos of him.
He gets old.
He closes his mouth.
He closes his eyes.
His life is confined in the photos.
