Moved to N.J/N.Y.C in 1980. Surfed his life as a N.Y.C Bicycle Messenger from 1999-2002. After 25 yrs in the U.S, he now lives and works in Tokyo. From 3D to paintings to words, his definition for Art can not be catagorized and has no boudaries. "Anything goes! Life itself is about creating." MADSAKI says. He is well known as "The very first person to bring in the FIXED BIKE culture to the streets of Japan." I don't like to go out and hustle like the rest. I don't need to go out there and prove myself with the rest. If it comes it comes. I like to live my life without the need of "competing mentality." I am not against to anything or to anyone. There is a difference in a "quality" of a person/work, but no one is better or less. I might not agree to the person's point of view or work, But there is no right or wrong and good or bad to it. If I were to compete like the rest of the world, I have to think and play according to their system and by their rules. I think, that system is what's killing today's civilization and humanity. Do I have to judge and complain and suffer to get what I want? No pain, No gain? "To make an effort" and "to suffer" is not a same thing. It's a total separate thing. I am learning that this system we live in is not the way around for me. It's not fun living and it's not worth it. There are too many unnecessary bull shit to deal with. And something and someone always gets fucked on the way. Why do something that I feel uncomfortable doing? Is that the only way to survive in this fucked up society? I will accept the system but, do I have to play by the rules? To many people, this is the only way out/up. Really? I hope not. I think it is all in the consciousness. Consciousness is what's creating my present "reality." Good or bad, it is from myself. My conscious created what I am experiencing now. Problems are there to make myself realize to act on my consciousness level---to understand the reasons of the outcome. By experiencing and figuring out how and why things good and bad happen to myself, there is always the subconsciousness part playing its role---a background or a flow. Good or bad, the more aware of what is happening, the more prepared to choose what I "need to do" and "don't need to do" by understanding the present flow of my life in this system. It is an endless day to day process of making that conscious. The broader my space/consciousness gets, the broader what comes in and what I can do with my life without competing to anything or anyone. That is the space/place I enjoy living. That is the space/place where I "create." By doing so, somehow, life takes good care of me. It is never less or plenty---just the right amount at the right time. Life is to enjoy, not to suffer. You may have to make an effort for what you want, doing your way, But if you think you have to suffer for it, you will get suffering. Because you are asking for it.
