標題[問題] 關於plate arch?

最近念了一篇文章
其中裡面提到對JDFP與北美板塊之間的運動
在垂直方向的速度剖面上有plate arch出現
The formation of the plate arch has been
interpreted by Brandon and Calderwood (1990)
to have been caused by rotation of continental lithosphere
about a pivot point in the Puget Sound area due to Basin and Range extension.

關於arch這個東西，台灣有一個專門的翻譯名詞嗎?
還有這種隱沒帶間出現的拱狀構造，地表會表現出來嗎?
