He was a serve and volley player, who not only executed it well, but taught it well. He is one of the most renowned coaches in modern tennis, and has also coached another one of our coach picks, Tim Henman to some of his best tennis as a resurgent stalwart in 2005. It is considered by many here that few other coaches would have as much of an understanding of the workings of the mind of a player considered to be amongst the greatest of all time, as Annacone, given his experience with Pete Sampras.
