Chekhov的"The lady with the dog" 男主角Gurov在Yalta第一次與女主角Anna說話時 先與Anna的小狗有過互動(the Pomeranian波美拉尼亞犬)才漸漸認識Anna的 (原文:He snapped his fingers at the Pomeranian and, when it trotted up to him, shook his forefingers at it. The Pomeranian growled. Gurov shook his finger again. The lady glanced at him and instantly lowered her eyes.) 第二次與見到小狗時 則是當Gurov因為受不了對對Anna的思念 而去Petersburg找Anna的時候 Gurov徘徊在Anna家門前 (原文:Suddenly the front door opened and an old woman(這不是Anna) came out, followed by a familiar white Pomeranian. Gurov tried to call to it, but his heart beat violently, and in his agitation he could not remember its name.) 請問各位大大 在此短篇小說中 這隻狗狗到底有什麼意義呢??實在是百思不解... 目前只想到的是與這隻小狗的中介 代表男主角對Anna的愛 其實是空泛且自我中心的 即使他們有love affair 但是這種affair只是男主角對現實世界的逃避罷了.. 請問還有其他的解釋嗎? 寫的落落長 真不好意思...<(_ _)> --
