※ 引述《weihs (加油唷~努力過好每一天^^)》之銘言： : ANOMALY:PARADIGMATIC : (a)weakness:durable : (b)blemish:flawless : (c)falacy:convincing : 答案是B 邏輯是什麼呀?? 我怎麼覺得三個都對.... : 老方的模擬考中的題目~麻煩戰友們指導一下^^"謝謝 我沒帶字典出門，手邊有線上版MW的定義： weakness 1 : the quality or state of being weak; also : an instance or period of being weak <backed down in a moment of weakness> 2 : FAULT, DEFECT 3 a : a special desire or fondness <has a weakness for sweets> b : an object of special desire or fondness <pizza is my weakness> durable able to exist for a long time without significant deterioration; also : designed to be durable <durable goods> weakness的意思是「弱的狀態」、「缺陷」、「弱點」；「弱點」這個意思 也被引伸成「pizza是我的弱點」之類的意思。 durable則是「耐久的」、或是「被設計為耐久的」。例如「耐久財」。 我認為兩者之間根本沒有相互定義的關係。講淺白一點，有很多耐久財都有 缺陷——一輛汽車可能設計不良而充滿弱點，但就算它已經衝下懸崖而爆炸 ，它都還是「耐久財」。更進一步講，「耐久」是藉由時間來定義的，指的 是某物不會隨時間消失。而「弱點」則主要指某時點或時段之中的狀態。 blemish : [v.]to spoil by a flaw : [n.]a noticeable imperfection; especially : one that seriously impairs appearance flawless flaw: 1 a : a defect in physical structure or form <a diamond with a flaw> b : an imperfection or weakness and especially one that detracts from the whole or hinders effectiveness <vanity was the flaw in his character> <a flaw in the book's plot> 2 obsolete : FRAGMENT 雙方可相互定義。flaw本來就有「不完美」的意思，跟blemish意義相近； 加上less後直接構成反義關係。 fallacy 1 a obsolete : GUILE, TRICKERY b : deceptive appearance : DECEPTION 2 a : a false or mistaken idea <popular fallacies> b : erroneous character : ERRONEOUSNESS 3 : an often plausible argument using false or invalid inference convincing 1 : satisfying or assuring by argument or proof <a convincing test of a new product> 2 : having power to convince of the truth, rightness, or reality of something : PLAUSIBLE <told a convincing story> 這兩個詞我還不確定能否說有反義關係，請各位大德指教。 我目前的想法是：fallacy這個詞的定義其實都訴諸一種「客觀上的錯」， 而convincing則強調「較為主觀的說服力」。例如，如果我們引用convincing 的第二義，把convincing代入fallacy的第三義，就會變成： "Fallacy" means an often convincing argument using false or invalid inference. fallacy指的是一個通常convincing（或plausible），亦即有說服力的、可 信的論點，卻使用了一個錯誤或無力的推論。為什麼一個論點會是「有說服 力」的，但卻是fallacy呢？ convincing未必是透過correct or valid inference而來的：當泛綠民眾看 大話新聞、泛藍民眾看2100時，他們當然都覺得鄭弘儀或李濤講的話很 convincing啊，可是其實他們講的話不也都充滿了fallacy嗎？換句話說， convincing和fallacy並沒有邏輯上的嚴格互斥吧？ 關於選項中單字定義的想法先寫到這裡，等一下寫寫關於題目的一些想法。 --
