(c)(5%)以simple Solow model架構分析比較先進與落後地區國家有怎樣的puzzles that the theory cannot explain? 4.(20%) (a)(5%)試說明Human Capital, Immigration and Solow Puzzles。 (b)(9%)統計資料顯示美國在1973-1995期間有productivity slowdown。試問就「slower growth in inputs」與「slowdown in MFP」兩方面，學者們提出怎樣的解釋? (c)(6%)說明比較過去三、四十年來美國與歐洲在productivity與standards of living 成長趨勢的不同。 5.(20%) 說明下列兩套「理論」的具體內容。特別要指出這些經濟學家所針對「實際世界」 (real world)的「問題」(problem)是什麼?他們要表達怎樣的「信息」(message)? (a)(5%)Supply-side economics。 (b)(5%)Barro-Ricardo equivalence theorem。 (c)(5%)Gordon顯然不贊同上述兩套理論。試問Gordon如何以雷根與布希兩位總統的 「減稅」政策效果來反駁這兩套理論?
