Keegan confirmed earlier this week Shearer would not be returning to the club as his assistant after talking to the former England international. Magpies boss Keegan is keen to bring Shearer into his backroom team and Shearer says he will hold further talks about a return to St James' Park next week. "We hadn't spoken for a while and we had a really good evening on Thursday," Shearer told Daily Star on Sunday. "Kevin's forgotten more about management than I know and he wanted to bring me in as assistant. Shearer說他跟KK談過了，而KK比Shearer想像中，似乎脫離執教生涯有點久...所以... 而KK確實是想要Shearer回來擔任No.2.
