As if it wasn’t enough that Nets forward Kris Humphries is dating reality TV
star Kim Kardashian, he also happens to be having a career year. Humphries,
26, is in his sixth season and entered the year as a journeyman, with New
Jersey being his fourth stop. It has also been his most fruitful—he is
averaging 10 points and 10.4 rebounds as he heads into free agency in the
offseason.
26歲，NBA生涯第六年，對於籃網前鋒Kris Humphries來說，
自從這賽季交了新女友Kim Kardashian之後，似乎迎來了全新的人生。
籃網是他待的第四支球隊，而他也打出生涯最耀眼的數據：場均10分10.4籃板。
Rather than Kardashian being a distraction, Humphries actually gives the
relationship partial credit for his improvement.
Humphries表示Kardashian確實對自己今年的爆發起到了激勵作用。
“You know, it’s interesting,” Humphries told CBS New York. “Just being
around her, seeing how hard she works, and everyone in her family and what
they do, it’s motivating for me. I want to be the best that I can be. I
wouldn’t say it’s the only reason I’ve had a great year, but it definitely
factors into that. … A lot of people would think it would be a distraction,
but for me it’s been motivation.”
「你知道，這很有趣。跟她在一起的時候，看著她努力工作，她和她家人所做的一切
對我來說都是種激勵。我想盡我所能做到最好。我並不是說Kardashian是我本季

Humphries has been in and out of the starting lineup for the Nets, but has
reclaimed the starting job in the wake of the deal that sent rookie Derrick
Favors to Utah. In March, Humphries has played the best he has played in his
career, averaging 14.2 points and 14.8 rebounds, while shooting 53.2 percent
from the field.
Humphries目前已成為籃網固定的先發陣容，自從新秀Derrick Favors被送至爵士之後。
整個三月份，Humphries打出了職業生涯的顛峰，場均14.2分14.8籃板，FG高達53.2%！
