基因發現將會引發大量的新的療法(藥物)，"包括針對疾病用藥而非症狀" 這裡卡住了
應該怎麼翻比通順？

請問surrender 在此是翻成放棄或交出的意思嗎？降整句是不就有否定的意味
自己的理解是，社會就像合夥的公司，是由一群認同為股東創造更穩定生活組成，
但是要放棄(融合?)彼此的自由與文化。那(b)的the expense of individauls'
liberty and culture to ensure ......是不可以翻成
以犧牲個人的自由與文化為代價來確保......
