XD typo 錯的還真巧 at first : People thought that those ideas that were stupid. 不要 that 不要 that 這個 that 沒錯但一般會省略 這個 that 就錯了 1) history's best ideas 不嚴謹，history 不是人，不會有 ideas [the] best ideas in history 較正確，清楚顯示 history 與 ideas 之間的關係 : 未來我們的電腦將更有能力，而且網際網路將會在這一波的改變中扮演重要角色 : Our computer will be more powerful in the future. computerS : And the Internet will play a big part in this change. 文法只有一個單複數問題 1) 「角色」可直譯為 role 而仍然不改變原意 : 她和前男友分手的導火線是他太多話了 : She broke up with her ex-boyfriend for being too loquacious. 文法無錯 1) loquatious 較罕見，不搭配原文的白話直敘，建議直接用 talkative 2) 英文第一眼看不出是誰多話 (who's being too loquacious? Oh I guess it's him) 但這資訊在原文卻非常明顯 (是男生) 建議可改為 because he was too talkative. 3) 「導火線」沒譯出來，但譯出來要整句改寫 : 她沉溺減肥所以她總是睡得不安穩 : She is addicted lose weight who is always deprived of sleep. ^ to losing weight, so she's always... 1) addicted 稍微重了點 2) 應用 so 或 therefore 來清楚交代因果關係 3) deprived of sleep 不好，會讓讀者認為有東西主動奪走她的睡眠時間 [如 she's always deprived of sleep by the baby's feeding schedule] 可直接 sleep-deprived 代表「睡眠不足」這個狀態 : 媒體對於新聞事件的過度渲染，常使得事件的焦點偏離真實 : The media exaggerates for news often makes the focal points news, often making : of things deviates reality. deviate from reality 1) 我會把 媒體...渲染 這一段改為 The media's exaggeration of news often... 2) focal points of "things"? 3) makes ... deviate 不順，可改用 forces ... shift 4) reality 不好，可改用 truth : 歐洲醞釀創新能力，全球專利申請數居冠 這看來是標題，不應以一般文法規則評估 : Europe innovates gradually, the application of paten is 又 typo : number one in the world. 這句需要直接改寫 1) gradually 完全是「逐字翻」這爛規則產出的垃圾。 2) number one in the world 生硬，可直接 leading the world in patent... : 台灣本身市場狹隘，產業發展需要仰賴國際市場 : The market in Taiwan is restricted ; the industrial development 不要 the : needs to rely on the international market. 不要 the，然後 marketS. 1) restricted 不佳，給讀者一種「被法律限制」的感覺，建議改用 narrow, small 舊先這樣 (打錯字是不是很刺眼？) -- 'Cause it's a bittersweet symphony, this life Trying to make ends meet, You're a slave to money then you die -Bittersweet Symphony, The Verve --
