標題[英中] 這句的shipment和as a unit該怎麼解釋？

裝載泵浦、引擎與控制器前，應
以泵浦製造商
為一單位，徹底執行廠內測試。
黃字是我不確定的部分！
這裡的shipment看起來很像是動詞，
可是shipment明明只能當名詞呀！＠＠"
有沒有可能是把shipping打錯了，
或是shipment後面應該接個of呢？
另外，
這句話的as a unit，
要怎麼解釋會比較好呢？
請大家不吝嗇評批指教！^^
