我想請教一下，
在佛洛斯特的Good-by and Keep Cold裡，這一句:
"Dread fifty above more than fifty below"
是甚麼意思呢?
我用創作年代(作者當時40多歲)去猜是作者對50歲的恐懼之類的，
翻譯成:「憂懼五十歲以上的事，甚於五十歲以下」。
但是根據上下文意，感覺這句有點唐突，
所以我想我應該猜錯了。
在此想請問一下各位對這句的想法。敬請
不吝賜教。
