我想请教一下，
在佛洛斯特的Good-by and Keep Cold里，这一句:
"Dread fifty above more than fifty below"
是甚麽意思呢?
我用创作年代(作者当时40多岁)去猜是作者对50岁的恐惧之类的，
翻译成:「忧惧五十岁以上的事，甚於五十岁以下」。
但是根据上下文意，感觉这句有点唐突，
所以我想我应该猜错了。
在此想请问一下各位对这句的想法。敬请
不吝赐教。
