He will be out of contract in the summer and Valencia are among the chasing pack around Europe. Roma’s transfer embargo as a result of the Philippe Mexes case means they cannot sign any new players until the end of this season. “Pires is happy at Arsenal, but will decide before the end of January what is to be done. Roma are a great club and Robert knows that too,” concluded the agent. Meanwhile, there was bad news for the Giallorossi today, as Totti has been added to the growing injury list.
