The captain had been out of action for 58 days, having fractured his ankle in a clash with Empoli defender Richard Vanigli on February 19, but made his first appearance in full training with his teammates today. He ran around the Trigoria training ground, worked with the ball and then took part in the game between ranks. Totti even managed to score two goals during this kick-about and set up two more strikes for his colleagues, who all celebrated this return to the field. Doctors initially stated he'd be sidelined for three months, but the recovery process is going so well that he could anticipate his return.
