Roma consider Crespo option
Roma are reportedly mulling over a move for Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo.
The Argentine has made no secret of his desire to return to Serie A and, with
rumours persisting that he could be surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge
this season, Roma have been alerted to his possible availability.
However, a transfer could be scuppered by Crespo's high wage demands, with the
30-year-old currently earning a salary way out of Roma's reach. Even a loan dea
-l would be difficult for Roma, although if Crespo continues to impress at the
World Cup they may yet decide to push the boat out.
