The focus of the lab is to understand the molecular mechanisms by which vascular stiffness is increased in kidney disease and how stiffness affects cell behavior and function. Qualifications: Ph.D. degree in biology or biochemistry ‧ Knowledge and experience with routine molecular biology tools is required ‧ At least one first author publication in a peer-reviewed publication or that has been accepted/submitted for publication is required ‧ Must possess excellent writing and communication skills. ‧ Must have motivation and commitment to drive scientific projects.
