you can tell if its the offical site by looking at the top of it. usually it shows: myspace music. they have certain way to identify if its from the band itself or by their fans. undeniable there are some no longer active old bands, their website is highly likely by their fans, but most of the bands would build their myspace since there are more people check their myspace instead of their websites. (but its mostly the case for those english-speaking countries) most of the bands will put their tour schedule on myspace main page, which you don't even need to log in but still see the schedule and listen to the movie on same page.
