6/8/07 Signed RHP Troy Percival to a Minor League contract.
From LAT:
Paul Cohen, Percival's agent, said Percival's deal has a low
base salary, believed to be in the $500,000 range, and is
based almost entirely on appearances. If he pitches for the
rest of the season, he could make between $1.5 million and
$2 million.
The deal also includes an opt-out clause that allows him to
become a free agent if he is not added to the big league
roster in two weeks. Percival is expected to report to
triple-A Memphis on Monday.
