Is it because Tavares has done it at a higher level that he's ranked higher? Who do you see as the future CF in Houston - Tavares or Anderson? I know nothing about him outside of numbers. A:Jim Callis: 当然。我现在正一直服用 Sudafed(鼻塞药？)并且在Prospect Handbook 上耗 费过多精力。所以我只能直接给你handbook上的 scouting report（不过在过 去我从没对其他球员开此先例）。 因为Juan Gutierrez在委内瑞拉夏季联盟和阿帕拉契联盟各重复一年，所以在 这个季後他必须要被放进40人名单中保护，在此之前他甚至还没在完整球季中 投过任何一球。虽然他现在还不够成熟，不过太空人不想冒在规则五选秀中失 去的风险。他和Greeneville 的队友Levi Romero 并列阿帕拉契联盟的胜投王 ，而且他在关键的联盟冠军赛中用七局掉一分的好球圆满结束这个球季。他已 经有两种相当好的球路--90-96mph的直球和大曲球。休士顿也相当赞扬他的心 智，指出他的领导是Greeneville 得到联盟冠军的重要因素。Gutierrez 的变 速球至少可以发展成平均水准的球路，不过他还需要多加使用它。夏天初期他 在维持投球姿势方面遇到困难，所以有一段时间他只能靠着直球压倒对手。如 果他学会重复流畅的投球姿势，就能大大改进他有时会摇摆不定的控球。他有 耐投的体格不过还需要确定这不会消耗他的身体。21岁的Gutierrez 对阿帕拉 契联盟来说有点老，而现在他三个option的倒数已经开始了，太空人将会加速 他的培养。他有可能会跳过一个阶级并在高阶1A开始他的05年球季。 --
