Manzano, who also led the club for a season in 2003/04, signed a one-year deal on Wednesday and at his presentation to the media this afternoon outlined his intention to build a squad of "young, hungry players". He said: "It will be a strong Atletico Madrid and we will try to play, within our possibilities, good football. It will be an Atletico Madrid built around young, hungry players.
