Simeone: "I absolutely believe in this team and group of players"
Diego Pablo Simeone spoke to the press after the draw in Baku.
Diego Pablo Simeone spoke loud and clear after Atlético de Madrid’s
goalless draw in Baku against FK Qarabag.
“I absolutely believe in this team and group of players,” he said in the
post-match press conference.
Our coach analyzed the game. “In the first half, we had several chances.
However, in the second half we were playing very rushed and weren’t as
solid as we should’ve been.”
Atlético must win the three remaining Champions League matches and Simeone
believes it’ll happen.
“I always want to transmit optimism and I think we can get ourselves out of
this situation,” he said. “I repeat, I absolutely believe in this team and
group of players.”
