An emerging power in world baseball, Chinese Taipei will play five games in Perth later this week – against combinations drawn from Perth Heat and Australian players. After that, the national squads head east for a four-game series scheduled as follows: Monday 16 February: Australia vs Chinese Taipei, Geelong Baseball Centre, 7.00 pm start Tuesday 17 February: Chinese Taipei vs Australia, Melbourne Ball Park (Altona), 7.00 pm start Wednesday 18 February: Chinese Taipei vs Australia, Waverley Baseball Club, 5.00 pm start Thursday 19 February: Australia vs Chinese Taipei, Waverley Baseball Club, 5.00 pm start Please note the earlier starting times for Games Three and Four, as the series heads to the eastern suburbs. Entry to games will be $ 10 adult, $ 5 concession, with incentives for juniors to be posted early this week.
