Listeners on frequency of Kuwait and Dubai reported, that the aircraft arrived in Dubai with one engine inoperative. Emirates Airlines said: "Emirates flight EK18, on 18th November, encountered a number two fuel tank pump failure enroute to Dubai. This had no impact on the safe operation of the flight, and the aircraft continued to Dubai, landing safely one hour behind schedule. The safety of our passengers and crew is of paramount importance and will not be compromised."
