The defensive player puts his hands firmly on the ball and when returning to the floor both player are firmly in possession of the ball. Jump ball situation. 另外一种就是题目提到的状况： 2. A player jumps for a shot. The defensive player puts his hands on the ball to block the shot with either one or both hands. The shooter returns to the floor still having the ball in his hands. A traveling violation has been committed. It does not matter whether the defensive player still touches the ball when the shooter arrives to the floor or not. --
