Do the Blazers need to trade up to get him? If they do, there are apparently two players Portland won't deal to move up: Look for the Blazers to attempt to move up in the draft to get him. They're offering the Raptors anyone on the roster with the exception of Martell Webster and Jarrett Jack. With the final pick the first, Ford predicts Portland will snag Joel Freeland. This kid is supposedly a few years away from making a contribution. Steve Patterson has hinted the Blazers might want to draft a player and stash him overseas for a few years, and coupled with the rumor that Portland has made a promise to Freeland,this pick seems to make a lot of sense...
